"Support the Troops" Project!

The Corona Norco Republican Women, Federated are collecting a variety of items from personal care items to snacks (non-melting) to books and games and sending them to the troops.  We are currently sending to four different troops, three in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.  All of them are Army.  If anyone knows of someone that is currently or will shortly be in Iraq or Afghanistan, please supply us with their address and a short bio.  We will try to include them in our shipping.  Our goal is to support the military service personnel from Corona or Norco area if possible, so please forward any information about troops that would appreciate receiving boxes to cnrwf@yahoo.com.  In 2008 we sent 95 boxes out., 15 boxes have already been shipped in 2009.  None of this would be possible without the generosity of individuals who donate.

FREE BAGGAGE CHECK SPONSORED BY:

Orange Emblem Club #418 is a National Organization "The Supreme Emblem Club of The United States of America" We collectively raise money for scholarships and individually host fundraisers for community charities.

The funds raised from the baggage claim will be targeted for St. Elizabeth Dialysis Center- Children's Section.  We purchase holiday items for them throughout the year.  Christmas tree, gift cards at Christmas, and craft items for other holidays.  This helps them pass the time, while on dialysis for 3 hours at a time 3 days a week.  This also gives the children a sense of accomplishment, and a completed gift or craft when they have completed their dialysis session.

Also, if any of you have any stickers (paper, pens, craft items, etc.) that you would like to donate (kid friendly) it would be very much appreciated.  If we have a surplus, we have other places we can use them.  Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

Thank you,
