1. EXPO
Volunteers (Not to be mistaken
for Teacher's Pets)
Interested in being a volunteer? We have 4 hour
volunteer shifts available (consecutive hours only)
for individuals 18 years or older. After you have
worked your 4-hour volunteer shift, you will receive
$36.00
$40.00 cash, to help with your
cost of workshop and/or crop tickets. Each
volunteer position will also receive a free single
day admission to any EXPO. Use it, give it
to a friend or save it for another EXPO.
You will need to pre-register online for your volunteer
position. If you’re planning to attend workshops
or crop we suggest you register online before selected
workshops or crop tickets sell out. You do
not have to attend workshops/crop or the show room
floor to pre-register for a volunteer position.
The volunteer shifts will involve either helping
at our registration desk, will call area, door prize/expo
booths, door attendant, or at our Crop Party. All
Volunteers must be able to work for up to 4 hours
on their feet and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
No children may accompany Volunteers during their
shift. Please be advised that we do not allow cell
phone use, texting, IPod/movies or gaming systems
during your shift. If you’re working multiple shifts
please remember to allow enough time for lunch/breaks/shopping
between shifts.
IMPORTANT: There is a processing fee of $10.00 to
sign up for our Volunteer Program. In order to allow
this easy sign up process the system requires us
to charge a fee. This fee will only be refunded
to you upon the completion of your volunteer shift.
The $10.00 refund is in addition to the
$36.00
$40.00 you will receive for working
the 4 hour shift

2. Teacher's
Pets (Not to be mistaken for
EXPO Volunteers)
In our Teacher’s
Pet Program you will assist the teacher with
class set-up, collect tickets, hand out workshop
packets and assist the instructor (as needed). Please
check in 45 minutes before your time shift is to
start at the Workshop Office. The shift starts 30
minutes before the start of the workshop and ends
15 minutes after. In exchange, you receive the class
kit, observe how the project is made and hear the
tips the instructor shares with the class, all for
only $5!
Guests may register
for one Teacher Pet position per order. You may
register for multiple positions; however you will
be required to place an individual order for each
teacher pet position. Teacher Pet positions do not
qualify for the "Show Special" or "Free
Gift Program".
